  Former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim Switches from PDP to APC Former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim has departed from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). The announcement took place at an event in Abakaliki, where APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje welcomed prominent new members in Ebonyi State on July 13. Anyim, who also served as Secretary to the Government of the Federation under President Goodluck Jonathan, participated in the 2022 PDP presidential primary but received only 14 votes.
